community!

The group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday, September through May.  We create a variety of items to give to those in need physically or spiritually.  We pray over the items as we make them, asking for God's healing and blessings for the recipients.
We have made shawls/throws, hats, scarves, etc. to give to those in need of comfort.  Since this mission began in 2018, we have given 48 shawls/throws and 336 hats and 22 scarves and 6 pairs of slippers!

We would love to have more people join our group!  If you enjoy hand-crafts but can't attend our sessions, no problem, we would love to have you participate by donating some of your items so we can reach even more people!
Contact the church office at northkirkoffice@northkirk.org if you are interested in crafting to show God's love in our community.

On December 22nd volunteers from the Caring Crafters helped TOUCH Ministries fill 100 backpacks for the homeless in the Ontario area.  Each backpack received a beanie and many received blankets, socks and scarves.  It was very heartwarming to see the enthusiasm of the volunteers as they filled the backpacks with winter necessities for the local homeless community.
